Frequently Asked Questions
THE BARRIER TO ENTRY AND CAPITAL
What justifies the investment value, and how does the scholarship system work?
"Access to this 14-week Bootcamp has a real value of $1,681.33 USD. You're not paying for theoretical classes; you're investing in executive development consulting and the creation of your own Intellectual Property. However, our primary goal is to cultivate talent, not sell courses.
Therefore, after passing the technical interview, you may be eligible for a scholarship of up to 100%. This scholarship operates under a legal performance contract: The Order invests in you on the condition that you complete the program and deliver your 90-page script. If you drop out, quit, or are expelled for indiscipline, the contract obligates you to reimburse The Order $1,681.33 USD. We believe in your talent for future collaborations and IP sales, but we demand Skin in the Game."
Why does the program have a cost or a legal penalty?
"Because we're not filling traditional job vacancies; we're building a talent pool. The fee or scholarship agreement acts as a filter. Industry experience has shown us that free advice is ignored, and commitments without financial risk are abandoned at the first sign of creative block. We need the operational certainty that you won't go bankrupt halfway through the process. If you demonstrate the ability to survive the program, business collaborations and sales will be the natural consequence of your performance."
Is there an option for deferred payments, or what happens if I can't afford a monthly payment?
"For those who join without the scholarship, The Order is not a financial institution. Access requires full payment or signing the risk agreement. We don't operate under 'monthly subscription' schemes that you can cancel when you're tired of it. Once you enter the program, your commitment is for the full 14 weeks. If you decide to leave, the penalty clauses in your agreement will apply."
LOGISTICS, TIME, AND OPERATIONAL RIGOR
How can I access the detailed schedule and program of sessions and submissions?
"For security and confidentiality reasons related to our methodology, the exact schedule of sessions, writing sprints, and individual revisions is only available to writers who have passed the interview and formalized their enrollment. Once enrolled, you can download the official program.
What are the live session times? I have a full-time job.
"Unlike previous programs, the schedules for Sprints and live sessions are predetermined and fixed. While we look for times outside of regular office hours (evenings or weekends), it is your responsibility to adjust your life to the program, not the other way around."
I have a full-time job. Will I have time to write?
"The program requires a minimum of 3 to 5 hours of Deep Work per week. Being on social media while the page is open does not count." If you focus and follow our structure, you'll finish the script. If you get distracted, you'll need 10 hours. Professional filmmaking doesn't accept lack of time as an excuse for not submitting a draft.
What if I get writer's block and can't write for a week?
"Creative block doesn't exist in our program; there's only a lack of structure. That's what the pressure from the Board is for. If you get stuck, you have 24/7 support through our internal channels to get help from your peers and the Showrunner. We'll step in immediately and motivate you to keep going." We don't tolerate blank weeks.
Is there a money-back guarantee if I don't like it?
For those who choose to retain full ownership of their work by paying $1,681.33 USD.
Satisfaction Guarantee: The writer has the right to request a 100% refund of their investment only during the first week of the program.
No Refund Clause: After this period, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. Space is limited, and the funds have already been allocated.
For those with a Performance Scholarship:
Here, the question is irrelevant, since the participant has not disbursed any initial capital, but the risk is greater:
No Refund: As it is a 100% scholarship, there is no amount to be refunded.
The Termination Condition: If the participant decides they "don't like it" or leaves the program after starting on May 26, the Penalty Clause will be activated. Upon withdrawal, the scholarship is canceled and the Writer incurs an immediate legal debt to the Studio for $1,681.33 USD. You don't return money; you pay us for the time and the opportunity you wasted.
THE FINAL PRODUCT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Do you provide any certificate or diploma with academic validity?
"We are not an academy, nor do we aspire to be, so we don't issue diplomas to hang on the wall. In this industry, the only document that opens doors is a completed screenplay registered in your name. Your true graduation is leaving with a 90-page work ready to be registered with the INDAUTOR (Mexican Copyright Institute) and protected. You gain intellectual property, not academic credit."
What happens if I don't finish my screenplay within the established timeframe? Will I be dropped?
"The goal is page 90. If you don't submit it, you will have failed to meet the operational requirements. This means dismissal due to operational inertia and the activation of the penalty stipulated in your scholarship contract. There are no 'extensions' for those who don't respect the deadlines."
Do you retain the rights to my screenplay?
"You retain ownership of your intellectual property. However, the stories are nurtured in the writers' room; everyone participates and makes demands. If the project survives, reaches its final stage, and is accepted by a distribution platform, the contract will stipulate a percentage of the profit for The Order."
What happens after the program ends?
"You'll leave with a solid, professionally structured first draft. We don't guarantee immediate filming, but projects that demonstrate impeccable commercial design will be added to our private portfolio for potential sale to major streaming services. Those writers who demonstrate unwavering commitment will receive a formal invitation to permanently join our inner circle."
ENVIRONMENT AND TOOLS
Who will review my script and what experience do they have?
"Your work will be audited by the Instructor (Showrunner) and subjected to peer critique. We won't correct your spelling or offer empty praise; we'll apply 'Authority Vetoes' to anything that doesn't work. We're looking for commercial viability, a solid structure, and production potential."
Do I need prior experience or a film degree?
"You don't need a degree, but we demand narrative maturity and zero ego. This program is for creatives (novelists, copywriters, journalists) who have latent talent but lack screenwriting skills. We provide the format, the tools, and the pressure; you provide the discipline."
Do I need to buy expensive software or know the screenwriting format before joining?
"We'll teach you the format. However, starting in Week 6 of the Bootcamp, Format Synchronization is required. You must use professional screenwriting software (Celtx, WriterDuet, Final Draft) to export strictly to PDF. Writing in a standard word processor is prohibited and will result in penalties."
Can I use Artificial Intelligence (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to write my screenplay?
"AI is an exploration tool, not the author. You can use it to unlock an idea, but if you let the algorithm write your dialogue, your work will lack the human essence necessary for the National Copyright Institute (INDAUTOR) to legally protect it. Writing with AI doesn't hone your talent; it only exposes your laziness."
